How should I prepare before the scheduled book date?
Please prepare your space, before the scheduled book date, in the condition you would like it to be photographed. When we are photographing, we always try our best to not touch or move anything within the space.
What if it is overcast or rainy on the scheduled book date?
We photograph with a 100 ISO and we use a tripod. We shoot each image with a remote so there is little to no movement for the camera which will give us clean and low grain images. We do some post processing after the photo shoot to clean up any low lit areas and add a bit of contrast. No special light equipment is necessary. Photographing in the mornings or late afternoon are best because the lighting in midday can be somewhat harsh for the outdoor images we take of your space.
Can exteriors be included?
We always include the front and back exteriors. If you have any other exterior areas that is needed to be photographed, please let us know ahead of time. Also, as a reminder, mornings or late afternoon are the best time to photograph because the lighting in midday can be somewhat harsh for the outdoor images we take of your space.
How long does it take to photograph a typical home?
On average, it takes about 30-45 minutes to photograph 1,000 sq.ft., and a typical 2,000 sq.ft. home can be photographed in about 60 -120 minutes.
How can I use the link I am provided?
When we email you. You will be provided with a link and password, which will allow you to log into the site, where the images are stored. You will then be able to download them all together or individually. You can download images in different file sizes so they are suitable for what you are using them for. You can use the images on MLS, Redfin, Trulia, Zillow, Realtors, etc..., and also via print materials such as emails, print ads, direct mail, and social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, etc...). If you feel you would prefer some assistance with this, let us know and we will be glad to help you.
